Grayson is a very focused child. He likes to study things carefully and figure out how things work. So I try to find projects that allow him to use and enhance these skills.
For this one, I gave him an emptied soda bottle and colored puff balls. He carefully pushed each ball through the opening. It was great until he had them all in and the opening was too small to just dump them out, so I had to pull each one out one-by-one. He really enjoyed it though and it kept him busy for quite a while.
Supplies:
1 liter plastic soda bottle (emptied)
Colored puff balls ($1 at Dollar Store)
